It says getting updates, then nothing. Most perplexed, resetting Citrix has not fixed it and I have to use Citrix for work, it was working and now isn’t very strange. No citrix here either, tried all mof the above suggestions but still no luck. I’m really sorry you’ve been having issues with the Sky Go on your PC. I don’t have any Citrix installed so that would seem like a bluff. Worked until this morning then daman game online uninstalled, now when reinstall get exactly same as you.
I have deleted and installed the app, I have deleted the app and waited over night and it still just opens, looks for updates and closes down. It checks for updates, suggests it is downloading updates then leaves a blue screen with a play button until I close the app. It worked when I 1st installed it a few months ago, but now it just starts up , checks for updates then closes before it gets to the main menu.

I have tried a few things people have suggested like clearing chrome browser cache, removing various folders like citrix but its still not working. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll then be given the option to enter a unique code to link your account with. Once this is completed, you’ll then be presented with the sign in screen. How do I use my existing login for the Premier Sports app?

You just need to hold down the reset button on the back of the Sky Hub for ten seconds, until the power light flashes. If this happens you can easily reset your Sky Hub to factory default settings. Your router settings page allows you to configure your home broadband network to suit your needs.
The app must be total spaghetti code…. Same issue, the service is absolutely dreadful & Sky treat their customers with utter contempt Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again. I have trying uninstalling the app but not the hidden folders and files part.

Don’t unplug or switch off your router while it resets. Personally, I simply don’t watch them. Btw sky, I also paid to remove ads but uou don’t remove do you? Issues setting up new account
I’m assuming there’s some app that conflicts with the Sky Go app. I then purchased a brand new HP Windows 11 PC and have the same issue. I had the same issue with my Dell Windows 11 PC. Clearly not the only one with this issue will be emailing the Chief exec later I have uninstalled; reinstalled countless times but still no joy. It loads, looks for updates and then just freezes on the blue screen with the white arrow.

What have you tried, have you tried uninstalling the app and the hidden files and folders it uses ? Click to sign-in or sign-up. For further support, ask the Sky Broadband community. Also have Citrix but need this for work so it’s not really acceptable to just say uninstall every time you want to watch something!!
I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times, made sure all updates for the PC are installed and restarted the PC multiple times as well but the same issue keeps happening and I cannot use the SkyGo app!! I simply added a new windows user and installed the app on that login(so its like fresh windows start up and only the essental apps are installed). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.If you are on Sky Broadband with the new Sky Max router then you need to connect it as if it is a 3rd party router.If you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.
Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router.If you are on Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. On average, new discussions are replied to by our users within 50 minutes I am looking to join sky for broadband and TV but the options are bewildering to me. I’d like to speak to a real person at sky on the phone for some help in choosing the best package for me but can’t find a telephone number. I had an issue were the app wouldn’t even open for me. Both my computers have this same problem, the app just shows a giant play button and nothing else happens. I have had the same issue and followed your instructions but the app still does not work.

When SkyGo starts it just does nothing. I checked, I don’ have that other app. View this Answer within the discussion

After removing sky go and citrix workspace and reboot and reinstall of Sky go then worked perfectly. My computer had citrix workspace installed on it for work. I have been having trouble starting Sky go on my windows 11 PC for a while. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll then be given options of how you want to watch Premier Sports.
